There is a lot of good info on the yamahar.co.uk forum as well Colin. You do have to sign up to read all the posts though.

    Well here it is.
Been a long day as I left at 01:30 this morning to head down to get the bike and then have the graphics done.

Can't ask for much more than that.

I'll need to see if I can get away from the wee fella tomorrow for a blast.

Either that or I'll just take the bike to work on Monday and take the long road home :)

I got my last bike (2010 R1) flashed from velox and had a few problems with the air fuel ratio!!
Mine was a post your ecu to them service so it was a generic map that was flashed on to mine. Think the flashing has came on a good bit since then, You still need it set up proper on a dyno tho for best results!

I've done a few of these over the years, always a good turn out! If weather's decent this year I'll be coming along :D

Could you flash it and use pc5 or waste of time?

    Waste of time & money!
An ecu flash can do everything a pc can do plus a lot more, still need it set up on a dyno tho to get it spot on just like a pc5.

I couldn't find any dyno place up Scotland that done ecu flashing at the time, it was all just power commanders they done!
Might have more luck down south tho.
