Carl the Particle filter can blow out at 80mph 4 gear up motor way for 5 to 6 miles with Dpf (black bottle eBay) Dpf cleaner in tank. Or have it Regenerated. 9 times out 10 its the senior on the Particle filter gets clogged ( new senior 25 to 40 ). Had fare few BMW and sorted that Dpf out on all mine. The Ecu clicks it on at 80 to 90k with service. Most BMW dealers service garges regenerated them as they service the car an claim the fitted new Dpf
Well how p'd off am I, sytner Sheffield will not have my new car ready for tomorrow, I've got to go all that way to complete the paperwork and come away without the car, they will the deliver it next week! Not happy

i got an rs4 as a weekender and its 20-21 at very best. do have a vw diesel for running around and thats about 42-48. some of these new diesels give very good power especially the german variety!
i need a new motor i think after test driving a few it will be the 530d... in manual. saying that i did like the a6 2.7 tdi but the grunt of the BMW was so better. im not looking to spend a great deal but there is quiet a bit to pick from at the 10k mark. i do know of a 530d with 380 bhp....... and get 38mpg average.... but the chipping and tweeks arent too crazy ether
