Unfortunately not I can't wait to get back on the grip. Now messed up my arm. And I been getting some good track time in. Done three track days this year. Just wanted to find a good setup. Had some bike issues. Melted wires , tyre tearing , chaffed wires causing misfire, and now dash fuse popping. All in that many days Now a busted forearm
Well the lens is in for repair and I'm picking it up on Tuesday , the bayonet was damaged and not producing very sharp images , But my set up is Canon 500mm f4 Canon 1dx mkii Which I've only had a couple of weeks so still getting my head around it
Basically his set up is a tin of biscuits, some cammo, an I phone to take the odd pic and a stack of porn mags
In other words when Barney is at a track day his camera and lens cost more than half of the bikes that are rattling round Still you have to know how to use said equipment and he can certainly do that
@Barney1take2 with equipment like that all you have to do is be able to see the bikes and the camera etc. will do it all for you I'm only joking, plus your lense is more than what i paid for my blade lol
Your 100% right I sit in the trees all day point and shoot and hope for the best , no I'd not think it's worth more .
Anyone watch the race last night What a load of utter boring rubbish Highlight was when the commentator Said we might see an unbelievable thing in a min a Honda fireblade SP2 overtake another bike lmao
The first race on Saturday was ok, but yesterday's ...... Many years ago I went to Laguna Seca to watch WSBK but last night I didn't even bother to watch the end of the race.
I bet going there is fantastic Don't blame u not watching it Same same , best action is fighting for 5th place
They definitely have to do something to rescue this series. I think they need to make them use stock bike's that can be purchased for a maximum price (say 25 grand) to stop them being built from unobtainium. Using standard but uprated parts like suspension, ecu and brakes so the bike you buy is closely related to the race bike. At the moment Superstock is far better racing than superbike.
Me too I started watching it and after lap 6 fell alseep....yawn....either the green or red machines clear off and the rest are way behind....boring....come back 1999 120,000 plus at brands and real characters riding now just boring.
WSBK - Laguna Seca, USA - 8/9 July 2017 Race 1 11. Stefan Bradl +44.961 sec 15. Jake Gagne +46.805 sec Race 2 11. Stefan Bradl +36.756 sec 15. Jake Gagne +51.093 sec American rider Jake Gagne was given the ride of Nicky Hayden's Honda, for the US event. He may be unheard of, but he can ride a bike that is for sure. In the pre-race commentary a comment was made about Honda team not being very impressed with Bradl. Along comes a talented rookie, with no experience of this level of World Superbike machinery - and he gives Stefan a run for his money. Also comment about Honda loosing patience with Stefan. Tin foil hat time again folks: I reckon Bradl is a plant !! Some good action of Jake Gagne showing his class as he battled to try and stay ahead of Krummenacher - he put some effort into it - gave it his best.
Bradl's in the team because his dad Helmut nearly won the 250 championship in bygone days ( I think Cadalora won) and Honda tend to be very loyal to their (ex) employees. That, and the fact that it was good for the series to have a German in MotoGP got him in originally. Having said that, you don't get to ride MotoGP if your a talentless mug and young Bradl had a good couple of seasons there but just didn't seem to get on the same level as the "aliens"
