Not bothered would rather the lovely members of the forum get it not me. Just glad to be part of a cracking forum
Bejeebus that's one helluva CV ..... totally impressed .......... but the real question is DO YOU HAVE A FIREBLADE ??????????? Welcome to the site .
Nope but he's such a helpful chap seems daft not to ask him to visit. Much like the traders board may give members group buys and discounts T.C can give advice and guidance Ans if someone needs his advice and guidance due to a accidents or incident then hoping they will also give him a bell
I have owned Blades in the past, in fact I rode the very first Blade that came into the UK all those years ago as I knew the head of Honda Europe when they had the HQ in Caversham (Reading). These days, because of my disability I stick with the Blackbird, which given the fact that I am also 6 feet 5 tall fits me better than the current Blade, but I have a couple of Buddies who have the current model, and I have to say it is still one hell of a bike.
I think we all like u better after say that, Tony. Don't forget to remind your blade riding buddies of the forum. and we need pics of the Blackbird Were you impressed riding the first blade when you did compared the other bikes of the time?
When the first Blade arrived in the UK, I was riding a GSXR1100 at the time and it was like chalk and cheese, a revelation. The Blade went were you looked in the blink of an eye, the only thing I found difficult to get used to again was the original model as you probably recall had the 16 inch front wheel, so it was not the most stable. Changing to the 17 inch front hoop I think certainly improved the bike big time. The engine was and still is incredibly smooth, but at the time of the early bikes I compared it to a magic carpet ride as the Suzuki had a powerfull but very coarse engine, where the Blade was just so smooth and therefore deceptive in the way it delivered its power. Happy days
