Hi and welcome, thought you might like to see what your Blade could look like on one of our bike lifts. This is a customers bike who bought a lift from us off the CBR1000rr site last week
The top insert goes into a lug which replaces the engine mount nut which is part of the kit we supply, the bottom pick up point is through the swing arm. Perfectly safe, clever engineering with a load to lock system, both wheels off the floor ideal for cleaning, maintenance etc see more about us HOME
My buddy had another brand just like this one I think the original German maker of them. Can't remember the name. His fell off the two pins. Another manufacturer uses the safety pin for top insert so no chance if bike falling off.
I think you are possibly talking about the Bursig which is a German copy of our lift and is manufactured by Sumo Moto in China using poor quality materials. Your bike is 100% safe on our lift due to the way the lift in engineered, we use high grade tool steels supported with test certificates which includes using a memory steel plate which allows the pins to change direction. Once more than 50kgs is loaded onto the lift you would need to unload the weight of the bike to unlock it

Isn't this blatant sales canvassing? Unless I've missed the bit where RepsolRider23 has asked for opinions on the 1Jac??? There's a traders section of the forum for this sort of thing
My mistake madmac, recently signed up as a paid advertiser on the forum, still getting the hang of it, please in future see us in the traders forum! I have e-mailed Rob and left him a message last Friday so we know exactly what we can and cant do Looks good though?!
Yes my friend. I am the inventor of the single post side Lift. The intellectual property rights belong to me. I still have the first one I ever made on show in our workshops in Leeds. You are welcome to come and have a look. It was a cold morning outside an old aircraft hanger on Elvington Industrial estate in the Winter of 86'. There we were trying to get the front wheel out of my GSXR750 slabside. I still own the bike as well (C reg). Bought it new the year my eldest daughter was born. I didnt claim all the invention though,,, it uses an archimedes lever, first invented in the 700's I believe by the man himself to lift dead weights onto ships, it gives the load a soft start and increases the load at the tipping point. I also had the assistance of some knowledgeable old school Engineers, but all in all it is mine. A light shone down and a voice said to me, "are you still dicking around with that side lifter?" The answer is yes! I stick my flag in the sand. Hmmmmmhhh. sad but true. I wasted a lot of my childhood drawing stuff..... Oh, Hi to our new friend from the States. How you doing?
