Can't comment on the abs although it's supposed to be brilliant. Only thing I don't like about it is the extra gubbins on the bike look a bit untidy but a small price to pay for the bonus of having it! And you will love the blade, I have a tricked up 2010 GSXR 1000 and bought an RR-8 as a "second" bike as time goes on I'm forgetting which one is the second bike now, amazing machine even in stock trim!
Hiya Disco,welcome I have a 2011 abs, cant think of any reason not to have it other then it looks nicer under the rear without it, other then that its great, I don’t think I would go back to non asb in a rush
