Beautiful bike and great write up. Test rode one myself and completely different animal to the Blade as you say.
Yes Mate, a massive 200 miles on the clock! It’s had a bit more carbon bling added and there is still a bit more to be added over the winter, you can blame that on the Ducati performance catalogue, or as Ling calls it "The Ducati tuggy book". It’s costing me a bloody fortune. Before the weather broke it had a few runs and meet ups with Carl: During a proper clean before tucking it up for the winter I noticed a couple of slight cosmetic marks I emailed the dealer who asked for photos which I sent. I got an email back earlier this week to say all have been approved under warranty, now that’s what I call good customer service. The new man cave/garage is going up during November so I will have to wake the Panigale from its hibernation to move it into it new cosy home. Roll on the Spring.
No not yet Mike, but considering it, I hear its best to let the professionals fit it though as it can be a bit fiddly.
Yes I would and I can't believe you are out and about without it! All the bling and carbon goodies mean nothing if the front of the bike looks like a birds egg. I got peppered off Andy yesterday and he took some back but on Washing the bike today no issues thank god .
Yup its good stuff made by 3m .There are loads of threads on here about Ventershield basically its a clear film which wraps around your plastics and headlights and each bike has its own kit ( I also had the top of the forks done as well .no problems washing the bike or weather ect Check out on you - tube its all there.
I've seen this plastic wrap on TV - I think all the sofa's on 'My Big fat Gypsy Wedding' are covered in it? - is this the stuff we're on about? or am I on the wrong path...
+1 on getting it fitted - 'most' of my R1 panels went on OK but those that are not right on mine really annoy me, hindsight is a great thing. Given your investment in the bike its got to be the best £200 spent I think
