55 profile makes it tip in easier and the profile gives a bigger contact patch when leant over, the profile looks more rounded compared to the 50 which can look quite flat in comparison
I've put just over a thousand miles on my pr4's now, including a long run out on Thursday in the pi##ing rain! they are superb! I haven't been this impressed with a tyre since the switch from cross plys !
