R1's a great bike but heavy compared to the Blade. Also doesn't like low speed turns. Apparently it can be improved by getting the ecu remapped. Nearly went this route but then read a test in fast bikes where the blade got a 'so so' conclusion. Reading between the lines I realised that the politics of journalism might be holding the blade back in the test and decided to test one. That was enough.
