Commuted all 6 shifts on the blade! Smiling all the way. So much so that scooter I had has been sold! Sod it I'm just using the blade all the time........... Well until I buy a proper bike as a hack!
Just had a loan bike for a couple of days / 200 miles while my 2012 was in the workshop (just a new rear tyre but the tyre courier arrived late and I had to get to work.) It was a filthy Yam FZ8. Was actually quite nice not caring at all about the wet this morning when I was taking it back. It was much nicer to get back on my Fireblade though. Life's too short to be arseing about on hacks when there's a blade to be enjoyed. I still wince a bit when I'm getting splattered with road mud by the car in front though lol.
Ride it all 6 shifts but it was cleaned twice in a week. Had a ride out today and then another full clean polish and HD WAX applied and the wheels waxed!
