just sorting out the route with people, sorry if you have tried to pm me as i just realised my inbox was full, hawes to hartside is the prefered choice for most but wont make a decision just yet, them bloody wales pics have got me right up for this 1
Thought I'd posted my I'm up for it but can't see it here so I'll shout it out again "count me in Fez". Hopefully me and swiss t will be coming together as we are almost neighbours.
They were too good thats whats wrong with them . Made me realise what i missed think this route might be a little out of your way mate as its going to be hawes to hartside cafe. that might not be a bad thing though as i doubt exposure on your camera could componsate for my leathers
A good place for a brew on way back is Manor Cafe just north of Leyburn - loads and loads of really good roads up there. Hawes, Garsdale Head, Kirkby Stephen, Brough, , Middleton in Teesdale, Alston but all roads up there really good. Also make sure you do a run but to Hartside from the Penrith side, think that is fav. way up, but watch out for very quick bikes coming down and using all the road. I can't make this ride out as on track day at RAF Valley -
Ok so the majority of people are happy to do the same route so i think common sense tells me that we plan exactly the same as last time so we meet at hawes 12 o'clock quick refreshment in the cafe and welcome some of the guys who couldnt make it last time then set off for hartside around 12.30
Here is the list of who is coming so far fez.57 Lee711 Givover ashblade Dave d blaggers si boro rich stealth Thefirebloke bobmg Silverblade06 garyb bats Swiss T + 1 And then maybe douthers chem600 Robin73 I might have got some of this wrong as i have deleted all my inbox but i hope its right. please correct me if im wrong
O.k guys and ladies. I've just got the nod from the son in law he will do the ferrying around with MrsB on Sunday 12th August, that makes me available to tag along. As we have mostly done this one and a few are repeats, I'm more than willing to help out by meeting the Cheshire Wirral Manchester crews at a given point along with Firebloke and meet you all at Hawes, I don't know if this is a weather dependant ride out again? But unless it snows it won't be worse than the last one, so I'm in. I'm sure if it's nice we can count on Bats and Windy too, don't worry, I'll check the oil filler cap before we set off Do you want me to do an Anal route description Fez for the north west contingent? Looking forwards to it already
Yes please , I would like to see the start point and the route to the cafe , and any other stop off places , Thank you .
Leave it with me Barney, and honestly guys and girls, the pictures are something else. You've seen the proof, it leaves you wanting to put a few gallons of fuel in his tank hint hint
