To Remal and all other chapters this is not a 3 man mickey mouse breakfast the Northern Boys Rule .Come on and Man up you lot its very poor at the moment.
Shop not open till 10am si and then it 4hr drive back to mine . So I won't be back till mid afternoon .
Reckon anyone turning up on a blade should have their breakfast (or at least a coffee) bought for them by those in cars!
I was tempted this morning Al ,however we have just had an hailstorm from hell with a blast of gale force wind as well .It seems to have settled down but the roads are now coated with melting hail ."bugger"
I am just at the bike/car point but looking at black clouds racing over the car will win for me to...
Great morning /early afternoon with the boys and a decent turn out Al managed to get his old arse down on the blade to win his breakfast and top marks for that .More to follow no doubt.
Yup, enjoyable morning/ early afternoon. A good laugh too, as usual with these comedians. Can't beat getting with the lads for a good craic.
Everyone needs an MMC full monty inside them ............... thats a breakfast before the comments roll..lol. 2 fried eggs, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans, hash brown and fried bread with 2 rounds of toast all washed down with a mug of tea. All for the princely sum of £5.50 an absolute steal and proper tasty. cheers guys, a good way to spend a sunday untill the weather picks up.
Home via the Cat and Fiddle, bike washed and polished (as best as is possible with gaffer tape fairings) and ready for the 'shakedown' test at oulton in 2 weeks time. It fell off padock stand onto side but nothing shows! Would be a great place for a dyno power run / shoot out but few willing to go head with my bike for fear of my shed making most power!
Amazed you need to ask that! Just moving from phone to photobucket - think white balance to pot though so may need more work
good to meet you boys agian to day for a good chat. jon ( honda 1 ) good job u dint follow me home in the porshe down the lancs me corsa would of left u standing lol
So after leaving (and getting lost in housing estate due to one way street lol) I ended up in Knutsford and spotted this Weather was good, roads dry so headed up to Cat and Fiddle - loads and loads of water running off hills / snow banks so steady progress - tyres / suspension feel all wrong - need to check and re-set to standard one evening. Did not get any pics at Cat but here are a couple on way down The white balance looks all wrong in a lot of them - very blue tint - sure could correct in Photoplus but CBA! THanks to Giv for the breakfast - thought at least one other rider would turn up on a bike given wall to wall sunshine. Really good clothing department - very tempted by the RST textiles for touring about in - looked decent enough, waterproof with vents to open so you don't boil in the bag on a hot day. - think just about 370 for the set.
Good evening guys and girls, First off, a cracking Breakfast meet for the Northwest Chapter today, I'm sure everyone who attended will join me in thanking Givover for arranging it! Secondly a big up to all the folk that turned up to make it happen. And thirdly a big up to the guy with the big bollocks who actually took the time to turn up on his bike. All will be revealed soon. So here's my slant on things hope you enjoy the photo's? Sorry no time was taken between shots, the images will confirm this. Enjoy. So I left home at 08.15 and headed off to meet thefirebloke and went on to Millennium motorcycles where we landed bang on 10.00, on entering the showroom I start random shots. I must get one of these. Makes it look like I could pull a wheelie. Tucked out of the way? Probably the best place for it! One of them err? Enter the boys toys room. Gsxr750. But who's replica? You wouldn't. Would you? More bikes.
This caught our eye, for all the wrong reasons, or we're they? One of them. And one of them. Aye up, it's andrp27 He did mention breakfast. Could wait any longer. See ya! It's like a bloody bike shop here. Hmm, anyone fancy this? We shall see. Nice to see you. Nice!
Hmm. One here, nearly as old as Ken. You just wouldn't would you! Perhaps? Steve & Andy discussing the finer points of..........? So. Si has found the Ducati and gives his view on the handling Suits you sir!
Lee, isn't impressed with Italian so looks on in admiration of the fireblade Anyway. We finally decide to head for breakfast and hopefully find the other members. There's only the four of us so far. Let's get some breakfast. Well, Well, what do you know, Giv and Craig have found the breakfast already. Alblade joins the table too. I myself prefer the taste of......
