    Thanks for the info RC45
These bikes will be on a track being ridden at different levels. So will wait and see, the main worry was whether it was going to affect the bikes that much that spare tyres where needed just incase the bikes threw big wobbles

the 55 profile tyre is only 3% larger in circumfrence, I doubt that will throw it out, but would be intersting to do some testing, can anyone get hold of Rutter :D

But even though that 18mm height difference between the 190/50 RS10 (632mm)and 190/55 RS10 (650mm), translates to a 3% speed difference, it is outside the margin that the HRC SP2 Sportkit uses.

The tyre diameter calibration increments are 5mm, so it appears they do not want any variation over about 1%.

So do all the new Fireblades have this problem then or just the SP's?

All SC77s use the same Torque Management routines.

Is there a way around this? Does it make a difference with the front tyre being changed too?
    Cheers

Ah the good old days before a "chip" controls and regulates for you

I ran 180/60 supercorsa's on my 06 and the tyres suited the bike and me perfectly
