I can only imagine what it would be like in that stadium tonight. i am totally drained and im just laid on the sofa
Your not the only one and I'm normally stern and solid! Listening to 80000 people bang out the National Anthem in the Olympic Stadium set me off, I don't think I've ever heard it sung so loud!
Well after the obvious success that the games are going to be, I've been putting some thought in just how we can acknowledge Sebastian Coe after its all done and dusted. We've knighted him for his prowess on the track. We've elevated him to the peerage for his work for British sport. What else can we do for him? I know! Let's have him stuffed.
Just pondering on the things that the British team is excelling at. The cycling, canoeing and kayaking, sailing, and rowing... You wouldn't think it was us that invented bloody engines would you.
well been a great Olympics so far, not watched more than 5 mins of anything but nice to see we are doing well. just thinking it will not be so good with the next Olympics as everyone will be expecting us to do better
Given the size and population of Britain compared to USA , China and korea, we must be winning. Pro rata.?
Flawless comment apart from the Korea bit mate - 24 million against our 60 - done well aint they!! i know because like a nerd i checked the other night as i was wondering the same but the most important think is we have given the yanks a run for their money and smoked the Ozzies and Ze Hermans...
As we are the undisputed world war champions it's considered politically incorrect to mention any of them, I think.
Yes but most of Kent think the last war's still going on. Every abandoned Fighter Command base has got the skeleton of a black Labrador sat at the edge of the peri track, facing East.
