Yes, people shouldn't do that speed. But,,,,,friend was looking after a friend's son present, A Chinese 125cc supermoto thing, and it got stolen from his garden. I was called as he wasn't in and my wives cousin lives next door to him called the police. Anyway, nice police said they couldn't chase them when they see them, they did turn around but not allowed to put blue lights on as might scare them off. He said if he chased them and they crashed he could be up for dangerous driving and lose his job. Only allowed to if a serious crime has been committed, they said they had one which was two people on a stolen bike, just done a burglary, hit the guy over the head with an iron bar, they gave chase and told to abort chasing them !!! As too dangerous!!! So ,,,, we ride #*st, number plates, insured, tax n licence. Get hammered. They ride flat out up n down pavements and we get charged more. Mad. Sorry for rant.
I popped it in waiting for someone to bite But I forgot all the over 56's would have been in bed at that time
I have to inform you (it's the law), that your name has now been officially writed on a piece of paper... And any further displeasure will cause me to cross it out.
I know the stretch of road well (Thorney bypass) as I commuted along it for 3 years. What a daft sod, if he's from pboro he will know it well himself. People do open up along there because it's 2 very long stretches of straight dual carriageway with roundabouts either end and one in the middle. But the police/camera vans do work the laybys most weeks.
