The simplicity of it.I was blown away by how easy it is to ride, thats why I bought it.I even told H at Kent M/c's I could pass my test again on one providing it can do the u turn.It is lower than the other 1ltr bikes to ride, I can put both feet on the floor instead of looking like a dog ready to piss up a wall. If I change it into an R1 with uncomfortable riding position and unpredictable power bursts then I would spoil it.This bike suits me.Sutle changes like pazzo's and cosmetics is all I'm changing on her.

Also like the slipper clutch, but would like to go back to a hydraulic clutch which would be lighter and have more feel and to lose the clickeness of the lever.

Jeanette's exactly the same Jo. She won't let her fuel gauge go below half. Thanks for a brilliant idea. Let Jeanette drive my car more.

    Cheers Jo.

I remember them well from back in the day. It was a big advantage being left handed. It was a lot stronger (ooh err missus).

i'm in agreement with most... slipper clutch is great, but i do miss the fuel gauge that the 600 had, i love the fact that mine doesnt seem to use a lot of petrol, where-as i used to be filling the 600 all the time.

No fuel gauge on the Speed triple, or Fazer so no loss on the blade. Have managed 90 miles before the light some on and 150 when touring. always got 20-30 miles until it's brown paint time

The way it makes me feel…….
It doesn’t matter how bad your week has been, how stressed out and so shattered you feel sick.
Key in. hit the switch, helmet on, throw your leg over, pull out onto the road…..
    Me time!

Just the reason I'm glad my wife does not ride. Work in a family Business, always around the wife and kids when not working mostly so going out on the bike is just me time.

+ me on the me time. It gets awkward sometimes getting my mates to understand that it's nothing personal but I do like riding alone. My latest ploy is to pick a destination that's a good ride away and meet up there, then at least they get their Ken time but without spending most of it staring at my leather clad fat arse.

Unless, of course, that's what they look forward to................?

I am glad it has the versatility to be able to handle slow riding comfortably in traffic yet be able to blast along at high speed without hardly any effort.
Oh yeah, and it makes me look a much faster rider than some other bikes.

I know its only a cosmetic mod but bikes without a double bubble coloured screen of some sort just look plain down wrong to me.
