Dan the man, fella. Good to hear from you. You make me real humbled with what you have gone though, I thought about you the other day when my back hurt and thought, you know what David, grow up. Others have real back problems. Really glad you’re on the mend mate.
It sounds like sciatica Freedom, happens when your young or older. Get a reset by the osteopath, there used to be a good one on Ermine Street Huntingdon when I lived there.
Yeah i was thinking sciatica too? its a damn painful ache down your lower back/bum/leg? it doesn't make riding a superbike much fun but Paracetamol is good for taking the edge off. I find it can go as quick as it came without seeing any doctor, but sometimes a doc/Osteo is the only way to go? Good luck with it Dave, hope it sorts itself out soon mate Simon
I get sciatica quite often and its a right cnut. My osteo told me to lay face down on the floor and push your shoulders up, arching your back as far as ya can go, while looking up to the ceiling, ie arching ya neck too. Not a press up, keep ya dick on the floor.
Thanks fella's, worth knowing about the Osteopath in Huntingdon Shameless, thank you. After the nightmare journey back from France yesterday even my mother could beat me in a ‘who can stand up the straightest competition’. I am going to make an appointment with the quack next week. Enough is enough
Got my appointment at 08:30 in the morning and it’s not a minute to soon. Been trying to take it easy the last few days but had to drive to MK to swop my car today, only 60 odd miles each way but by the time I got back I was sweating like someone locked in a room with a drunken Benn whilst he explains that he has never had bum sex yet. I would be nice to be able to sleep without having to have a three some with my new best friends Ibuprofen and red wine. Here’s hoping the doc knows what’s wrong with my back and if he doesn’t that he will prescribe some stronger pain killers and refer me to some who will.
Slipped disc, prescription pain killers and anti inflammatory tablets, take it real easy but keep moving and if no improvement in two weeks go back again. Just got to sweat it out and see what happens.
Oh my giddy aunt. Anyone see Holby City tonight. The surgeon prescribed Diclofenac 75mm for pre operation pain relief. I was prescribed 50mm 3 times a day with food for nearly the last four weeks, I only eat twice a day so have been saving for double dropping if I want anything near a normal life if I to drive etc. Think I had better go back and see the oh but very nice local general practice doctor for a referral to see a Bupa not so general but knows everything about backs. Enough is enough now.
