Now, after a long but very rewarding day, its done ! Full scale frontal attack on the cave ! Even hoovered it !!
Recycling guy isn't gonna be happy if he see's whats in his bin this week ;)

It was getting pretty unbearable in there and i wasted so much time keep loosing stuff and id convinced myself it was poltergeist activity going on...

Boxed and filed all this old junk too...

    Shit tip....

Had its good points... Missus kinda feared the place as it would kick her cleaning ocd off and she'd come out in hives !
Six hours later and probably in need of a tetanus jab, its done :D ! Feels so good in there now, i could move in full time..

Anyway, enough of all that bollocks, lets look at the bike as i got her out in the sun !! It was an amazing moment the first time standing back and looking at her all lit up in the rays...
I loosely put the tank cover and seat unit on to have a look how the lines worked with the new seat and I'm well happy with it, and got to sit on it for a proper feel and it feels so much nicer !

Excellent write up of your winter build, thoroughly entertaining. Glad it all finally coming together even after bolt, VAT & paint issues. Hopefully see it on one of porkchops rides vids
Def given me lots of ideas :)

Bleeding brakes... Literally ! Today i decided to get stuck in and bleed the brakes. The fronts weren't too bad really, but the back was a complete bitch. Took forever and I'm still not 100% happy with it. Pain in the arse with the HRC reservoir and had to use a 5ml syringe to keep topping it up. I really want a brembo rear underslung. I keep seeing them for later models come up.. Is there much fitment difference ? Can't get brembo mc's out my head either ! Well, my ones feeling a little spongey and tired ;) ! I looked at Accossato's as they are £100 cheaper, but its just not the same is it...
I can see whats gonna happen here ! The voice's start... Like they did with the brembo calipers ! "Its for safety", they'll say.." You've got to be careful out there, you have responsibilities now, you have to be able to stop, so get it", and i'll feel guilty and have to buy one  !!

Anyhoo, after all that, i then tackled the dodgy Ti disc bolt saga and put the new expensive ones from Probolt in... I am so paranoid about another snapping as I'm tightening now, after the mental damage from having 3 snap on me and having to take it all apart 3 times to try and dig the stub out !

Lastly, i gased the kitchen... Gilesy thankfully pointed out the heat shield as being a bit of an eyesore and all I've been able to see since is that bloody heat shield :(
It would be nice to throw it away, but i still have the nasty original downpipes on and i don't like to see all that ! So what I did was, as the missus is away, was to convert the kitchen into a spray booth as its nice and warm and handily has an over ;)
I used this high temperature, weatherproof bbq paint in a satin black finish. I didn't realise until id sprayed it (and made the floor really sticky ), that it doesn't go fully hard until its cured, so i put it in the oven for 2 hours :D ! Had to do an evacuation with the dog as it got a bit poisonous in there, but had the windows open for a while now and I've got until about 1700hrs tomorrow to get rid of the smell and the stick floor
Its come out a nice finish though, and now it will blend and you'll hardly notice its there :)

Thanks Mazzy.. It will be good to see it in one of Lamby's vids ! I've got a youtube channel going up too soon with random motorcycle shenanigans and build stuff, so watch out for that as well dude ;) !
Hopefully it will be back on the road by this time next week.. I was gonna say finished, but i don't know if they'll ever be "finished" tho ;)
