There's no difference in the gearbox 17-19. They sold loads of them so more available second hand.
I paid £13200 for an SP with 1100 on the clock in 2019. Minor oil leaks from the side covers at the track but all else has been fine. I resealed the covers myself, just the factory being tight with the silicone.

Hi Duck ...really enjoying the R1M .....love the looks ...very aero on the front mines a 2021 which had the new fairing ...had the bike from new has wsbk rearsets and levers so well set up for me ....however as others have said a the blades you are looking at are great value for money also light 195kg ...frontal end is narrow so wind blast if above 5ft 8 bit a talker race screen woukd solve that....having sold and worked for Honda for a short while I would go as far to say that model of blade is a better road bike than the lastest one....engine...comfort being to points to note....R1M feels special but at the price they are it should....for the price of a SP a lot of bike ...great value.

Had a ‘17 SP from new. No problems whatsoever. Lovely bike that I have no intention of changing
