    Reckon them tyre warmers guna be any help ? if so where in-between pontypool and cheshire can i get some ?

    Very true, in fact I've done less than the equivalent of 2 full track days, but just remember that when i come flying past you;)

    the superstore only puts about 45mins on journey, will the warmers help in this weather ?

    I`m sure cars are on track to on the same day
    MSV only novice days run 3 groups bikes 1 group car

    Shall i pick up tyre warmers on the way up tomorrow...... i will then have nothing to blame an off on !

    Sound i will do, apart from a display any benefits with the digital ones ? might treat myself to new gloves whilst I'm there too

    chances are your tyres at this time of year will come in colder than when they went out,which basically means you'll have less grip the more you ride,unless your pushing from the off.i'd still use them,but just be mindful of it.

    This was correct with the bike we checked yesterday when it had just come in off track tyres were warm but no where near as warm as when They have just come off tyre warmers and the bloke was doing 1.54 so a pretty good pace.

    Yes this had crossed my mind, 1 I'm not quick. 2 its a novice only day, i think they even have cones on track to show you lines,
    i have a brand new (more chicken strip than ware strip) set of dunlop gp racer d211 on one set of rims, and a nearly new 100 mile old(1 inch chic strip) set of bridgestone battle sport s20 on other set, which would be the best in this weather ?

    MSV always put cones out,regardless of the type of trackday.(as do FE)

    Damn ! Wanted to try me new 55 profile, Iv got the bridge stones in back of the van and I'm on route to demon tweets for tyre warmers and some thermal under gear, Im guna get BnB in Cheshire so will probably swap wheels tonight then

    A friend and of a friend they both have ZX10's have just been to Oulton park, one did 2 laps and had to come in, to noisy the other did 4 laps and come off, ice on the track, he says 26 bikes turned up, 12 went down.
