Oulton Park 20th March with MSV.

Just booked on this day.....Come on Al get that garage claimed!!

 

I will try to be there and possibly do the three afternoon sesions if the weather is fine. Dont wont to do a full day as I am afraid I may not be fit enough to do seven sessions.

 

Have you booked on the day? THe last one they ran was a 100% sell out with 10+ people there wanting to get on track

 

I didnt book but will do the usual thing which is turning up in a morning and putting my name on a reserve list . There is always someone crashing out in the morning if not I will just spend a day with guys from the forum making new friends.

 

iv never done a track day iv got a taster 20 min spell just to try im only 5 miles from oulton would love to say put me down im already nervous about my 20 min spell guess thats the norm is it for 1st time im just worried some nut will bring me of my my beauty blade

 

Another bonus of this day - we each get a free ticket to OUlton park BSB on Saturday 4th May so a further forum get together later in the year - weekend before SCotland trip so chance to firm up any details for that.

 

Garage all booked and confirmed for this now.

Is there any one else going from the Altrincham area who fancies riding to the track with me?

 

Weathers not looking great for this but it is just saying overcast and a warm 1c but feels like -1 . Fingers crossed as it will be a expensive bacon butty if its raining as I don't have wets.(yet)

I think some wheels and wets will have to be the next thing on my bike shopping list as I just feel like its not going to be a good summer again.

 

Don't hang yourself just yet Jason we are still in Winter ! I am no great expert on Trackdays but looking at the speeds you can get up to on wet shite normal roads in the rain you should be able to have a decent spin about on the track and if nothing else learn your way around it but nice and steady even with normal tyres there must be three times more grip than a salt covered greasy diesel coated potholes old duffer infested road .Does that make you feel better ?

Cheer up Jason, if the weather's anything like today we'll be laughing! They said 5 degrees and cloudy but I've already seen 9 on the van and wall to wall sunshine! They do get it wrong sometimes you know!

Weathers looking great for this track day on Wednesday if today is anything to go off.

I think some wheels and wets will have to be the next thing on my bike shopping list as I KNOW ITS GOING TO BE SO HOT THIS YEAR THERE WILL BE THAT MUCH SWEAT FROM PEOPLE THE ROADS WILL BE FLOODED.
