I am going to see them tommorow if it's not done would your mate fix it as the garage has had it a week already . Cheers
I will be racing at Anglesey in July on it I will only get the painted fairings back a few days before Our next race weekend on June 21/22 so would be a rush to get it ready for then .Plus I need to do a few trackdays first on it . I fancy doing an open pit lane on the bmw somewhere so I can get a load of laps on it to see how I feel on it.
would depend on his time and you'd need to drop the engine,or bring it here i can "help" you do it. do you know whats wrong with the box,or do you have a replacement already?
Not sure what's up with it yet just no 3rd gear feels like it's in neutral other gears are fine. Will see what the garage says tommorow as never took an engine out and don't fancy it to be honest. Know where there is a gearbox if needed but would rather just take the bike to someone and they do the full job . Cheers
soft arse, takes 3 hrs max to drop the engine, even if you've never done it before.the offers there if you want me to give ytou hand taking it out,but for the garage to diagnose the box they will need to drop it out anyway.
If you see the Fridge say hello to the rider(s) - being towed by a passat estate, triumph street R also on trailer
oh and jase, not sure if james will be there as they are at the TT,sure someone will be doing the tyres though.
Well, another full day on Wets! I'm getting quite good at this Rain Lark! Video to follow sometime after midnight!
Pics of my bike on track (not me, I was warm and dry in an office) look stunning - mega amounts of rain
Well here's the first one! Started off a bit slow as I was suffering with a lack of braking due to having Brembo Carbon Ceramic Race compound pads in which are awesome in the dry but utter shyte in the wet due to lack of heat. Speed picked up towards the end once I started keeping the front on slightly to keep some heat in em! Then the WALK OF SHAME at the end when I run outa FUEL on the last Lap!
Ok now for my expert critque I was asking scooby the other day if it wasn't flat out through Island and he said no and i notice your off the power there too, although your in the wet but i now realise whats going on there. Because my bike has standard gearing i was flat out in 3rd gear round island meaning i probably wasn't going anywhere near as fast as you guy's... Im well impressed Jay, obviously you where the quickest in that run (fast group), only one guy passed you on lap 2 but he ran to hot into Knickerbrook as you can see. You then preceded to overtake those in front of you, shame you didn't have a lap timer on....... Your the official wet weather ridder, you were hitting all your apexes nicely without touching the white paint which we know would be a bad thing in the wet. The only corner you seem to be out with was Old Hall...... Well done buddy now wheres the video with the huuggggeeee wheelie????
