There was another guy there that went down but I think his repair bill will be slightly more than mine...........He was riding a new top of the range Panigali! and he was towing it with an 04 Audi so he's not exactly minted!
Glad your ok Steve , I've only just got in so it will be posted to yours tomorrow so you should get it Friday morning mate , I've seen the footage we have , first session and everything is sweet , Front wheel in air hmmmm nice 2nd session and you are going really well plenty of footage of andy and Jason , And then it happens fast left hander and down , looking at video I would say front tucked .
Just to clear up why Steve aka silver fox aka mr Smooth aka firebloke the real reason he went down was, I was going that fast he overcooked it trying to get past me he really should no his limits been an older man . Mess with me and you hit the dirt . Only kidding as Gary said you are Mr Smooth but look forward to our next track day .
it does happen unfortunatly,but if you get up uninjured thats a result in my book,just a shame we didn't get a session in the aft. hopefully be able to go out on the 31st.
Just seen this Steve, welcome to the Oulton Crasher Club! All joking aside at least I know why I crashed - the killer is 3 - 4 months later my left ankle is not really getting any better so its off to docs next week for further x-ray's etc. but it could be it will never mend. Hope your injuries are but a fraction - any cool bruises ? Oh - and some people pay good money to go in a Landrover at Oulton, you got a free ride!
