I did my first track day up oulton few week back, was Weather watching for weeks gagging to get on a track, finally found a dry day which matched a track day, worked a shift on friday dug out leathers cleaned van out got bike in drove tha 3 hours up there organised BnB on route, got an old old BnB with dodgy plumbing and wonky floors, shite sleep and the track stayed wet all blumin day, my roady bridgestones wernt up to the job got at least a foot sideways every outing, too mean to fork out 300 odd for wet tyres was hopeing for it to dry but it did not so had to putter around, but on the up side i got to see what there all about and the bike went back in the van without a scratch. looking forward to the next one, but will either have a spare set of wheels with wets or wait for a dry track
I will be there, have to meet Claire and pay for next years ticket to ride, and a spot of dinner if anyone fancies it...
I am hoping to pop down depending on work be good to see who's brave enough plus be funny seeing Mick (NL instructor) doing everything possible too avoid going out on a damp /cold track. Also I see NL have put some trackday dates up first one at oulton 18th feb @£49 You on that Matt /Sinewave if weather looking ok did a few good days this year in Feb .

Sadly not Jimbo, I'm like a little girl when it gets wet but on the 1st of Jan I'm going to book every single track day on the calendar and then just miss the wet ones... We have now had 2 good summers on the bounce so I'm hoping next year won't be a wet one...
oh I can show you a few things with the Aim solo,if you could get hold of the DL version the amount of different data I can show is very interesting,and helpful. learning how to read,understand and work out issues etc with it is my new hobby.
