lol knew it Too loose is always better than too tight, with my punters race bikes they get run slack as a c#ck in a sock! Expech at CW Park!
Interesting...As a recent convert to the Wurth dry chain lube, which comes massively recommended but does require a bit of a leap of faith as when you use it, it doesn't look like there's any lube on it at all, I noticed a lot more transmission noise, which I put down to the final drive not being slathered in noise suppressing gloop for the first time since I got it. Dougie, if you mean changing your Avatar, go to 'settings' on the top right and then 'edit Avatar' on the left sidebar.
520 kits make more vibes too, also rearsets and the likes of aftermarket wheels with smaller cush drive rubbers all add up to more vibe and noise, same as non OEM sprokets as they also do away with the front cush drive sproket that costs a bomb from Mr H!
Hiday doody Dougie welcome to the forum mate About time u came into the fold! Some off the guys have already heard of you due to your accident! Hi mate - so the noise is back again - but at slightly higher speed after slackening off the chain. I should add its brand new and even tho i slackend it off, maybe i havnt done it enough..when sitting on the bike it would be more tension on the chain right? Its also worth noting I have a renthal sproket at the back its quite thin and i can move the chain from side to side slightly....could that be whats making the noise?? Its booked in on sat but thought ide ask! D
