Steve - totally agree. Spoke to Chris today and they have put something together for me that will be in the post this afternoon.. lets see if this fixes it

Not at all- I asked the question, I then even apologised suggesting I may be being thick by clarifying my question- the answer was the plate that came with the stand whould be fine regardless.

Or at least that's how I read it- perhaps it's just I'm plain stupid, especially as you appear to have the ability to know what was explained without asking a question I did?

 

Ok fair point, forget it the main thing is gilesy's getting sorted. I was under the impression there was a different plate which had been modified for rear sets. However for some reason Gilesy was told he didn't need it. I don't really get why . I never read that till later. So I apologise.

Well guys.. got the modified pin today and the bike is up in the air.. really chuffed with the stand. Will post some pics tomorrow but what a difference from the DT stand that I have, very pleased. I think its worth mentioning that the guys at 1Jac sent out that modified pin section next day for me.. excellent service and credit where credit is due.

A few pics of the 1jac with the modified top pin. I'm not just saying this, but every time the bike goes in the garage now, its straight onto the stand.. love it! Definitely need to get the modified pin if you have aftermarket rear sets though. Overall, really chuffed! Just need to flog my DT Warrior stand now..

OK Chris will do when I get home. Think im going to be out of luck as dont have a engine mount accessable through the frame thinking about it..
