Got to finish bedding them in yet but they feel good just doing that, they say the ceramics work fine hot, cold and in the rain.
Man I have an intense desire to switch to them, mostly just cause i adore quality engineering and exotic materials, but I can't justify the cost right now. Got a lovely set of PFM's waiting to on go on carbon wheels back home and I think they're going to do a lot to already improve a damn fine brake setup. If money grew on trees, I'd be running discs like that in a shot though. They just look sooooo.. alluring.
Pfm’s are fantastic brakes, I’ve got there 6 pots with 330mm iron discs on my Zx9r and the same on my gixxer 11 project, Wal at Pfm is a lovely guy to deal with. I always wanted a set of braketech ceramic on my rsv, they’re a fantastic looking disc but they’ve had them on hold for years now.
The forks and rear sprocket finally arrived today after being in customs for nearly a month, hopefully get them fitted tomorrow.
Man I've just read through your whole thread and fuck me you know how to spend cash!!! most of my bikes and cars for that matter haven't cost the price of those forks and sprocket....I'm pretty sure
They certainly weren’t cheap but you’re only here once, I don’t go on fancy holidays or buy fancy clothes or eat and drink in fancy restaurants, this is where I get my kicks..
I’d bought and fitted the rear caliper a few months ago and ordered the braketech iron disc which took a while to arrive, I didn’t mind waiting as it’s winter and not riding it. ]
ive bought them for mine bud, they are very nice. mated up with hpk discs, brembo sr pads, and rcs mater cyclinder.
