Just to be a bit more helpful. The 2008> Fireblade uses something called closed loop lambda for emissions control. This means it constantly changes the fueling tables from idle to 4000rpm to reduce fuel consumption / emissions therefore the bike runs very lean. It does this via the onboard lambda (O2) sensor sited in the downpipe. If fitting a PCV you need to fit an O2 eliminator. This goes into the O2 plug under the near side front fairing. You can then if you wish remove the O2 sensor from the bike as I have done and use a blanking plug in the downpipe. Once the PCV is fitted with O2 elimInator you will have full control of the fueling with the default fuel tables (fixed) being used by the ECU. Otherwise the ECU will 'fight' the PCV if the O2 sensor is still connected. As the bike runs lean as standard, with a PCV fitted you can enriched the fuel map which will improve running and power. My standard bike with PCV fitted dyno at 169bhp at rear wheel with some mapping. HTH
