surely if you have a friendly dealer you could have just a power run done to check it and if required they convert that run into a tweak once you have fitted the filter
There is a lot of info flying about on this subject experts like arthur will give you the informed, engineering view with years of experience and knowledge...... I however have none of that but I know 100% that it will be OK to add the air filter with no mods to your map as long as you get white wheels it adds 20+ bhp looks great and will make you a riding god like Rossi Hope this helps
I can throw a spanner right into the works with PC's and AT! AT likes to lean off the top end in the real world and not just a bit a LOT, now this could be to counter the ram air effect that Honda have taken into account?? Why do I not know 100% well I have asked many times with DynoJet USA and UK but they have never given me a "proper" answer!!!!!! Also Honda do NOT give out information re whats going on in the ECU.. You would think that AT would want to add fuel to counter the extra air pressure but NO, seems that it want to lean if off -20% thats a lot! I am happy as my bike goes like stink top end...lol One day I may get the AFR data for the stock ECU and be able to see why but until then its still unclear. The reason why its not seen on the dyno is no 180mph ram air effect!! I know top race team fully understand ram air effect and they use the same BOSH wideband sensors used by AT and dynos world wide and complex data logging and mapping with factory electronics... anyway I am just chatting now in case Mr HRC is reading and he can clear it up for me....lol
Its all to do with the flux capacitor, but I am sworn to secrecy Arthur On a serious note it is all very interesting, thanks for taking the time to explain it all
Ive seen the film mate and tried stuffin bananas in my intake but she still dont fly even with Honda wings...lol
