How apt that we've gone from the title Performance Bikes to Mary Millington in 55 posts it's come full circle
It is sad to see the demise of yet another publication. I personally have never bought PB, I might've browsed it on shelves in Smiths a few times to check out readers wives a couple of times but it never really got me to part with my cash. I have previously subscribed to Two Wheels Only, only for that to cease and become Visordown.com. But Visordown never held its attraction for me and I soon stopped looking. I subscribed to Superbike too for many years, that too attempted to go online. I have subscribed to Bike mag for a number of years now and I hope it doesn't go the same way. I have both paper and electronic copies of Bike. I do subscribe to US magazines, Motorcyclist and Cycle World. But recently Motorcyclist has changed from monthly to bi monthly. Cycle World has changed to quarterly. Hopefully these changes will help them survive. Although I'm disappointed Motorcyclist has lost Zack and Ari, but never mind they do have other good journalists. Both subscriptions are quite cheap. I think Motorcyclist only costs £5.99 per year for the electronic copy and I'm sure CW doesn't cost much either.
Received my PS March copy yesterday, there's a 32 page insert for the PB section, not f*cked up PS yet, only time will tell.
