Just an update to this I had some PR3's fitted this morning and was told by the workshop to expect the Pilot Road 4's in the new year they said they will have even better grip with further improved braking distances.

I have. You remove the valve core and pour them in. Dunno if they're any good though.

Look out for some PR3 deals in the new year then :)

it works by centrifugal force forcing the beeds out and they find there own way of balancing the tyres out. I've read a bit about them and they seem ok I think there are called Dyno Beads or something!!!

Maybe a good opportunity too get some 3s at a good price but have to say any tyres never come too cheap.

Lead weights aren't bad though, it's just removing them without scratching the rim and then cleaning the sticky pads off afterwards.

I have heard they work best on slower touring bikes and not good for track/sports bikes if you like riding hard, the beads find it hard to keep up with hard braking and fast acceleration, it's only what I have read, never used them, as I don't mind the black lead weights myself :)
might be good if someone that has used them on a track bike can comment?

If these PR4s grip better than the 3s, then thats the icy days taken care of as well, no need for those studs anymore,
the shorter braking distance has obviously been seen as a need after Hondas refusal to acknowledge that sometimes C-ABS Blades forget to stop, so thats thats that issue covered as well.

    All sorted then.
