very true to be technical correct..... and if i recommend a product to does help to put it right( thank shinyside up)

SSR1 to remove the scratches... they do a stronger version but not needed it yet

    the professional polish....

every so often( not used on blade yet ).... i will get round to it.

    every few washes

    black hole than nattys.

think everything would cost about 50 - 60 quid but ive got mine over the years

I've got the turtle wax ice stuff to give it a lovely mirror finish and very quickly with no white residue as its a clear liquid but would definitely be interested in some serious polish.

Would be interested to hear how you get on with your choice for a recommendation ;)

Mate of mine has the shiniest, best looking black ZX10R I've seen. When asked what he used, he whispered "Mr Sheen - don't tell anyone".

Use a proper polish to get the bike looking good to start with and then just give it a swish over with Mr Sheen after washing it. Stunning results I promise. Black bikes only look fantastic when they're shiny and Mr Sheen makes that easy. Gets rid of water streaks too. And cheap as chips.

Must say I also use it on my lid, despite the dire warnings from Arai, but not every time I clart it over - maybe 1 in 10. Can't have a shiny bike and a naff lid, can you.
