Some stunning bikes there boys.. Good effort! I'll add a pic just to make sure the bikes look even better.. Anybody want to buy a proper exhaust? It's my sp with an arrow can modelled on suzukis kettle from the 70s What was on thinking ha
Meanwhile, back on topic I too a ride out to Donnington yesterday to make the most of the sun before is disapears for all of next week. Not sure if this is castle donnington in the background But also managed to find the Norton factory too.
If that was tuesday then i was there too. I rode over last minute and got booked on mid morning. All loaded up and ready for my next one Snetterton tomorrow. Here she is wearing her track clothes.
better pull my finger out and get mine on the trailer too see you in the morning, and lets hope that rain buggers off but will bring my wets just in case
That was last session of Monday but I was there on Tuesday as well. I think I might have taken you out for sighting laps? Bike looks familiar. You didn't miss much in the morning as it was red flag madness lol.
Cloudy and 20% chance of rain mid day. Otherwise sunny Don't worry, i've got my tyre changing gear just in case. Ignore my timing, it was the 17th. I tagged on to the end of session 2 for my sighting laps as the day was well under way by the time i got there and got a session out with Wonky in the afternoon for some tips.

A few laps chasing a m8 on the green ZX10R at Brands GP yesterday. Brilliant day, perfect weather on probably the best circuit in the UK
nice riding mate! what group was that, big diff in pace with some of them? I agree, cant beat brands gp imo... its mega! looks like a fair bit of oil dropped yesterday though...
That was fast group. Yeah there were a few riders who should have been in an inters group. I took 2 guys out in inters who really should have been in fast. Happens when the group people wanted was full when they book. All that oil was dropped just before lunch. Oil filter fell off and so did he when he arrived at Clearways! Bike went up in flames but marshal got in there quickly and no lasting fire damage. I'd imagine the engine wasn't quite as lucky though!
looks like a few in the wrong group then tbh. but cant get round that other than chrono days I guess. fella on the orange bike was flying! yeah - quite worrying when the dust heads straight to the gravel! and you are not going slow at that point either! lol hope he and bike aint to bad
He was ok. I had a chat with him after. Bike caught fire with all the oil on the headers but marshal was on it in seconds so no real damage apart from the usual scrapes ect. He was worried about the engine running with no oil though. Someone had it on video as he tore past some bikes down the straight into Clearways. Was like watching something from Wacky Races with all the smoke that was pouring off his bike lol.
I shouldn't laugh but that sounds funny as feck! main think him and bike are ok... a guy blew up his bike big time at Donny in front of me, couldn't believe the mess and oil it dumped on track and all the following bikes. was covered.
Blimey! What was that bike that went past at 2:49? He made everybody look like they were standing still.
Seen BSB riders on Trackdays when they are testing. Seriously pi$$es off some of the "fast" boys when they get a reality check, as they are in a totally different class.
Personally I love being out there with riders of that class. Just shows what can be done and if you can tag on to them for a corner or 2 you can hopefully learn something. I don't have big enough balls to go into Paddock at that speed yet though lol.
