The sensible lads recognise this and do what you say. It's the ones who think that with a bit of luck and sponsorship that they could be on the BSB grid. Ironically the one I heard whinging most at one trackday about a rider ruining his flow, I believe the BSB rider took him down the "wrong" side of Park Straight FFS, should really have been in inters and not in the fast group. Disclaimer - This is all based on what I have seen watching trackdays and not actually riding them.
Finished the decals on the RR6 track bike and fitted a few new bits. So she's ready for track season next year.
Sorry gents, got bored of looking at the pissed Honda CBR stickers and the nice men at Pro Bolts sorted me out with some stickers similar to those used on Mcguinness's Macau bike.
After one year of rebuilding and repairing and a mountain of parts my sons Fireblade lives again. 1 year ago he and the bike were involved in a serious accident which resulted in both of them being completely wrecked, they are both now fully recovered with the addition of steel plates and lots of new parts. The list is endless.
A lap chasing a m8 on his 2014 ZX10R on the old trusty 05 Blade at Cartagena. 10 years old and still holding her own.
I've said before its ok everyone raving about the new R1M, A good rider dosen't need all be bells and wistles altho they can make a crap rider look good, just goes to show a 10 year old bike with a good rider, quality !
It's the kind of circuit when that when you first go round it you you probably won't like it. Once you've been shown the line around there though it all changes. Lots of late apexes and tip ins. Very technical circuit that is incredibly rewarding once you can string it all together. And cheap! This trip was £450 for 4 days in the sun with No Limits. At some point in the future I guess I will end up going down the TC bike route. But there is something really rewarding about knowing you are in control and not just cracking the throttle and letting the bike sort it out. Don't worry I kept reminding him that an underpowered 10 year old boat was keeping up and got past him lots of times Love my 05. It might be heavy and underpowered compared to the latest bikes but it handles like it's on rails.
It really is great value for money. Plus you get 4 days to practice your skills, rather than a day and then waiting a few weeks and doing a day at a different track. Plus it's pretty much guaranteed sunshine. No Limits really are a great laugh to go with too and the best TDO out there IMO and I'm not saying that just because I instruct for them lol.
