No idea. Steve said something to do with back pressure. If you cup your hand over the end of the can, the hunting goes. It idles smoothly. Never hunts with baffle in either.
Hey Si, when you say Steve is this Motrac Steve? I had mine there last April, Steve installed my PCV, I'd already put my R77 on and yes mine hunts on the idle too. I don't see it as a problem as the rest of the range is superb.
He's been there a while hasn't he? I took my RRN Blade there back in '93 he fitted a Dynojet kit to the carbs and set it all up. I remember him saying that was the strongest Blade engine he'd had in. I was made up with 121bhp. He's always busy when trying to get an appointment as he's ramped with his Prillias in ThundersportGB but he certainly knows his stuff.
It's the first map btw as the other too cover any Yoshi pipes while that one is specific to the R77. I'm running it currently while saving to go to BSD for a dyno setup. Hasn't helped that I've booked Snetty next Monday. It does hunt a bit on idle when warm with this map.... Would be interesting to compare custom maps from a few different tuners as I combined the best parts of 3 different maps for my Audi S3 to get the overall best remap settings
