i do a similar mod by cutting a 8x60mm strip of hdpu (plastic bottle top) about 1.5mm thick, take all the slack out of the cables and wiggle it underneath between the cam and cables, then redo the play.
helps to whack a good dollop of grease in as well while the throttle top housing is off.
you dont need to remove the cables or tube to do this, just back off the adjusters as much as possible.

doesnt have to be glued either - in fact imo theres less chance of it jamming if its floating...
not had one stick open yet and ive done it to all mine and a few mates bikes :)

on my firestorm & sp1 (before the sp2) i fitted the hrc throttle tubes and found they still werent extreme enough so i still added the plastic spacer... makes them about 1/6th turn and much funner. :D

I have Hrc throttle and cables twat to get cable ends on throttle body's but I'm sure the Hrc is 1/6th turn I find it perfect as on my old rr6 . My 12 felt horrible on the throttle compared when I first had it so 21 miles in it was changed .

makes it easier if you remove the clip-on from the fork, fit the cables to the tb's then pop the clip-on back on :)
i struggled like fk the first time i did it but like awt else you find the nack the more you do it!

You can fit a 06 on r6 throttle tube to your normal cables this is what I done on my rr6 blade but you have to shave a bit of metal off the throttle tube housing but I thought my new one deserved better lol .

I fitted a PCV, K&N filter and Yoshi can and found the difference fantastic! :D

I've been advised that carbon wheels is the ultimate performance mod that by far gives the best results, not sure if anyone on here can speak from experience on the difference?

My 2006 blade felt slow when it was standard , but is bloody quick after I fitted a full Leo Vince Factory system , PC3 an map , Airbox Intake , An K&N filters .
    Standard gearing.

Can't speak from experience, but I've been drooling over them a lot. Got an HRC throttle just begging to be fitted too, but waiting to do PCV, street hooks and new clutch cable all at once - which means about a days work.
