Ocd - I'd say the 4's offer as much grip as the m7's. And a little more feel? But like you say all down to personal preference and confidence. I wouldn't class them as touring tyres at all but understand why they are marketed as sports touring. Just shows how good the technology is these days. Can't say about weight as wouldn't know but surely not much in it? A big poo's worth no more? As for profile they are the same with 50 or 55?? But agree they do turn in different.
At the mo yes. Tbh I don't think it makes a huge difference.... It does turn slightly quicker but convinced they square off quicker too... I think the big difference is they feel so much sharper as your changing a shagged old 50 for a fresh new 55 which is obviously a huge improvement
Yeah, I know what your saying! I've always wondered if a 55 feels worse than a 50 after its gone past its best.
It's only Honda that even run a 50 these days isn't it? 55 is better for sure on track but for road, well not sure I Have a 200 M7 rr on mine, just to be different
First impressions of new (to me) PR4 after taking m7rr off after 5,000 miles on a 14 blade. The PR4 have a Very neutral feel to them remind me of the old 2ct. Turn in is excellent front end better than the m7. Rear doesnt sit as high as the m7 proven by more clearance to the rear hugger i would say the 55 profile pr4 is the same as the 50 profile m7. (i ran 55 m7} If you blindfolded me i would have said i was riding on sports tyres its only the visual tread pattern gives the sport touring nature away. No effort to sail round the bends you need serious speed to get the blade on its ear made the first ride easy safe and fast. 33psi front 36psi rear Only concern i have is no chicken strips on front tyre like i always have on all my previous sports tyres . I hope they hold out at max lean as i know i can ride faster . . .
