Yeah i will take some pics first thing in the morning

i had it on sale from Fowlers in Bristol and the sales guy said it was originally £1000 which i kinda believe as it looks loads better than my mates scott leathers which where 600 and another boys Alpinestars with he paid 800 for .

Its not current now but the Spyke suit which seems to have taken its place is 800 online

I hate having an odd body.

All my height is in my upper body, im dead on 6ft but my legs only 28inch, so knee down is very rare for me, but then again just because your getting your knee down doesnt make you fast, it just makes you showboating half the time.

    I love showboating :)

    :Banane42::Banane42:

My first track day at castle combe the instructer informed me that '' it's a racetrack, NOT a roundabout''

Then you realise that your faster just touching your knee down on the apex not all the way around the corner.

But on the road its good to have a laugh, roundabouts etc :)

    Question ?

Are you breaking the law getting your knee down on public roads ?

The police will say you're not in full control, driving without due care etc.
Any normal person will say you're fine and in far more control than someone driving with one hand whilst adjusting their hair in the miirror, listening to the radio, checking their phone, shouting at the kids.

indeed.... and if you studied the Keith Code art of cornering you will also know that three points of contact are always safer and more controlled! lol

but good luck citing that in court ha ha....as JM1 rightly points out, you can be done for careless / dangerous / without due care and attention all of which are subjective opinions of the prosecuting officer of course!

I got pulled for scrubbing in my tyres by going round a roundabout a dozen or so times, and the rozzer said I was trying to get my knee down!
He was trying to pin something on me, and said it was an offence to continue round the roundabout! Don't know how true it is, but I told him bikers do that to make the new tyres safer......

Welcome to my world Dan. That's why I started smoking again.

I've got to loose 2.5 stone by March, so that I can get back in to my Spidi 1-piece leathers. The long suffering Mrs V tells me that "...there's no fuckin' way you're buying new leathers after only wearing them 6 times. You can go on a diet instead".
Seeing as she's the one that strong-armed my in to quitting in the 1st place, it's all her fault. A fact she seems oblivious to.

    Me too. 5' 8" with a 33" inside leg.

The greatest invention in the world for me was the elevating car seat. I haven't got a clue where I'm going without it.

Both feet flat on the floor when I'm sat on the bike but I can only just reach the bars. LOL.
