Yep, got one too, real bargain from DVLA, very sublte but people who don't even know about bikes get what it means. I have a 1.0 litre CB1000R. It is full size (legal) and it looks really good, got it for a song as the DVLA lot did not spot it for the auction which they normally do for plates they think will make a bit more cash. It is a bit more work/thought to get it put on and taken off if you sell the bike but that's fine by me, that's what bike ownership is, its often more involved than simply buying a small city car and just getting in it and going to work. A plate like this makes it stand out, i like that.

I've got a 666 plate too but it's on the car at the moment. I'm not sure about transfering it to the bike as it may attract more than a lecture from the police in the probably likely:eek:event that i get stopped at some point.

Back in the day before all the political correctness became the norm, a well known porn actress had the plate FUK 1T

Many of us coppers liked private plates as it made vehicles stand out and far more identiafiable.

There was a local who had the plate DRS 1C (DR SIC) and spaced to read as such, He was a local Dr and was an awful driver. He was convicted numerous times because he was so easily identified.

The only thing about the DVLA that annoys me is they are quick to point out the if you misrepresent the plate you will lose it yet they are retaining the good ones where you know just what they're meant to spell etc and they list them for future auction. Smacks of double standards to me, but then again what can you expect from a government agency and the bent feckers who run our country!
