fork seals and oil changed today and then fitted to the bike along with headlamp mounts hate the faired ones look.
yeah pads chain and sprockets headlamp and clock mount . the clock mount a tricky bastard to find . may fab something for charity ride.
I'm an idiot. mines an 06 throttle bodies came in on the 07 so I've now got some carbs and e Bayer the throttle bodies. numpty
this was going to be a naked bandit as I hate the look of the faired ones but as I've got to do best part of 2 thousand miles in 3 days I've got myself a damaged fairing ill plastic weld up and fill . I'd already got screen and mount so that's good.
head light bar clamps and seat plastics still to get but getting closer to at least a bike that may run.
I agree about the half fairing on these kinda bikes - I was contemplating a CB1300 a year or two before I left England and whilst I love the naked edition, the half fairing version makes me want to do a little sick every time I see one. Can completely understand the practicality it provides if you need to do a considerable journey though. How much can you source a 1200 lump for one of these for? I've heard some very good things about the 1200 Bandits over the years...
headlight arrived fairing plastic welded and filled . levers arrived and exhaust collector box welded and pipe on now . switch gear is all here so now she at least turns over . oil leak from cooler pipe to sort next ffs
