Yup, but v.difficult to prove that a loose chain (for example) existed before a crash, however a repaired tyre provides hard evidence. I'd also just like to point out at this stage that I don't lie awake at night worrying about this sort of stuff, although it may seem that way
lol, I agree mate... sadly I have to repair my own tyres as money matters but if I feel not safe to do so then I would lump the cost, tbh I am open with my customers and give them the full facts and leave it up to them.. Like I say more and more I find that high performance road/race tyres can not be repaired BUT I've seem some that have been and unknown to the rider as well!
