I always use my QS on the road, in fact I've gotten so used to it being there that when I ride my other bike that hasn't got one it plays havoc with my changing gear for the first ten minutes till I get used to using the clutch again for every change.
I do use my bike on the track which is why I've fetters it the way I have. If it was purely a road bike I'd of stopped after an exhaust and suspension setting up. I agree you don't see a benefit to any of it really one the road and I think they're quick enough out of the box but let's be honest, that's not why we mod them is it?
