    well Yamaha have done a very good job of getting people talking about the new bike if nothing else.i've never seen so many people (on other forums also) talk about a new bike release so much,and it seems yam have played a blinder by keeping the bikes numbers available low,even the standard r1's are in short supply,been told of a dealer that ordered 40,was told he could have 8.just hoe it lives upto the hype,but have no doubts it will.

    Ok update- due to the demand for the R1 there may be no test models and if I do a single mile on mine then I own it! Not sure how I feel about spending 15k on something having never tried it out....

    my order is complete, just awaiting delivery schedules now, I was told by my dealer that it was 87 coming....again the dealer might have got excited by a number so it could be 70...could be 87...could be 90! the thing I know is I have one coming! :cool:
