As Guy Martin said " we aint made of sugar".I prefere the rain (warm) to freezing cold weather any day.frost on the roads is no fun but with a good set of tyres rain is no problem.
I'm the other way round, cold and dry please! I'm out on my supermoto this weekend, rollox to the rain it can kiss my Yamaha.....lol
Cracking the flags up here and hoping to get out later it looks like the shite we had all yesterday is now with you Ken So great day in Wales Thursday absolutley hammered down all yesterday and really nice today (And its July) get out whilst you can dudes.
Yep Jeanette's just been out with her parish council hat on to check the brook in the middle of the village as we're on a flood plain, so I may be on sand bag duty this afternoon.
I've already said I'm not clearing any storm drains without a litigation waiver. It runs through a road full of solicitors.
Please let us all know if you make the news (Old man gets sweeped down the high street) would perk us up a treat .
Not a cloud in big sky country, wall to wall sunshine. Make the most of it, its all going down hill later. Off to pick up my new AStars GP Pro 1 piece from Wheels then bob over to the East of England show. With a bit of luck the rain will come and we can bugger off home so we don’t have to suffer Marcus Collins and Janet Devilin on stage this evening.
Well I'm back from my inspection safe and sound...... No cheers eh? Fair enough. Well my particular little piece of Deb'n seems to have dodged the bullet so far and the water that was flowing over the bridge this morning is back where it belongs under it now. It's still bloody grim and has pissed all over tomorrows fireworks but my village has survived. Ottery St Mary got twatted so it looks like evolution is going to have to start all over again there......again. Everyone else okay?
Yeovil looks horrendous !!!!!!! Rubbish everywhere, fences down, rubble all over..... Ooooopppppsss On closer inspection it always looks like this so all ok here.
Looks dryish in Abingdon at the moment, just a little overcast. Seriously considering getting my leathers on (I might just have to wear them to watch TV though)
Well I try not to swing at the Met office as that would be shooting the piano player but based on their ongoing forecasts all day yesterday I cancelled the ride out and meet ups I had planned for today, which I'd been looking forward to for weeks and today get up to a cloudless sky, check their website and overnight their forecast has completely changed. Not happy!
You are right Ken BBC Weather Exeter airport looks like a fantastic day (You still need to get out to escape the F**king Tennis.)
With both the British F1 and Wimbledon mens final on today the roads should be pretty clear if not a little damp
