He sat there for about five minutes on a house two gardens away, eyeing me, watching him, stage whispering to Jeanette to pass me the camera. Then the minute I took my eye off him, he was off. He came down low across the garden, in between the trees then over the fence into the orchard. We've clocked him a few times before hanging around, but this is the first time I've managed to get the camera on him.
The careful application of science can begin to bring out the hidden secrets of even the most obscure imagery...
New age onesy? Caught this dude whilst on a weekend break with the family. It's the socks and boots that made me laugh.

The dragonfly was at least six inches long and let me get him onto my finger at one point. You can really feel the pressure from its grip. Quite spooky. We get loads around here as we're right on the estuary. The wasp was pissed off eating dead falls from the pear tree and was happy to sit still on the sponge while I tried to shoot him. He was washing himself like a frigging cat. I tried to get him from the front but the front element was so close it was covering him in shadow.
