Dawlish Warren this morning and the grounds of Powderham Castle on the way home. Gary and Steve's ferry, once they'd debarked...
The Exe Estuary at this point is a massive mooring, full of boats all year round. There's always one or two like this. They're a bloody nuisance, to be honest mate, but the harbour authority seems to always drag their heels bringing the owners to task on them. These two are side by side and navigating around them on the Exe is a nightmare. It's a dangerous stretch of water as it is. You can guess by the picture how long the other one's been there.
Cheers mate, the heron's a bit soft but he was a long way away and I'd just cycled 12 miles. Even the IS couldn't keep me steady enough.
I'd have been steady enough, just as I pulled the trigger! Hate the fcuking things.... But a great shot none the less mr ken
Ha ha... No just three ponds of stock! Greedy mofo don't even kill to eat. Them fcukers just think they are having a party lol
Ahh, I see. One of my neighbours fell prey to that but the old Cnut still blames Bert for filching his fish. Even when I pointed out that I'd seen the thing landing in his garden and he admitted he'd seen it too. Bastard. He'll get his.
We had a Heron in the garden eyeing up our pond of silver ghosts. My Weimeraner Milly clocked it whilst in the conservatory and the bleeder just sat there and said f*ck off.Milly wasn't having any of it.She went for it and the thing jabbed at her with it's beak and cut her back leg. It never came back after that.
Maybe shouldn't say it, but their heads are quite small off the body .... Sideways, didn't know you had a weimeraner mate, I would love one mate, but sadly can't give it the time they need
