Ha well we know how to close the can, the blade will never be a V4, an RC1000V for the road, maybe, a V4 blade, Never...or its not a blade...

Now I fancy a project V4, say a VFR800 tuned right up and stuck in a blade frame, beat Honda to an RC1000 for the road...best I can do as I can't cast a motor.

The production racer is €1,000,000.00 - €1,500,000.00. I think that price is 1yr lease. Its called the RCV1000R. Its based on the pneumatic valved. This is a spring valve engine.

Did you know they charge the pneumatic valves to around 3,000/3,500 psi (200bar) afaik before each session.

    Great vid:-

Nuh, he's a simple living guy, made his money lost the bottom line love of the sport imo and as he put it, gone fishing. Tbh I don't think he will come back as much as I'd like to see him and MM go at it.. I think he got to the point of seeing the sport for what it has become....money....

Yep, and thats a ZX10R motor converted to pneumatic valves, I did read some info on the RCV and remember not much gets said about it, I can't recall all the facts but I know its around full bottle pressure to charge the system, those full size bottles of nitrogen (often seen in the workshop/pit) are around 200bar.

Correct, and I think the bottles max psi is around 220bar!

You gotta love the internet.. We have loads of Oxy and gas bottles...I have some fair stories about them too...lol

Would love to see Stoner back, but he is more into his RC cars these days.
Imagine him and Marquez in huge same team ?
    Just testing would be competitive.

The road version was supposed to compete with the Desmo tho, so they wouldn't move very much at £75k.

Well a Ducati 1199SL is £54,000.00 and they all sold pre del (total made 500). I was chatting to a chap I know who works in Honda and asked the Q..

Is the road ver of the RCV gonna happen, he said yes, I still think...maybe...

My bet is £75,000.00 at least.

I think "those with money" will not question 75k, after all a good super car is 200k and a run around range rover is 60-80k?

They reckon it will be VERY exclusive so guess at 100-150 units?
