O and arthur richard at maxton said its good ie the adjustment actually work unlike the 2008-2011 one and it still goes off with heat but last longer untill it goes off if that makes sense ? ;)

    I'm guessing it's not a straight swap with the 2007 model :(

It does, if you could ever get it to the point of loss of viscosity then no damping but then any shock would IF it got super hot, as for the valving then they must have achieved good results with the new 2012 shock.. Ohlins TTX is supposed to compensate for heat, however last time I saw inside a TTX36 I failed to see how it does this as no thermal valve as such??? Anyway I think you have done well mate and Maxton are one of the leaders in the game so I'd trust whatever they say.. :)

Mechano strip screwed on then bonded! you can see where it caught!

    Trimmed down a bit!

After 40 miles today and no sign of catching :)

Its weird how res catches as the shock swingarm hugger and rear wheel are same as non abs and that dont catch only diff is abs undertray and it aint that catching weird!!

I think I'll give that a try Bats. Just need to scramble up the loft for some mechano strips. There really is no end to it's uses :)

I tested mine the other day for the life of me i still cant see why? I think i do, but the physics dont add up?
I ran mine over quite a bumpy route after modding it, I put some masking tape just to make sure, and there was no sign of catching.

Don't get sucked into Bats world Colin. I bet there's more feckin steel under that hugger than the 4th road bridge ;)
Works a treat though mate. Hats off to us both :)

But I think he stole my design:D

We shall have to mount a go pro on arse end man. The main thing is. It works, and all these guys that own ABS models are going to send us loads of dough for giving a cheaper option ;)

Is it not that when the swing arm compresses the shock res moves back and down pressing the hugger into the tyre...
