You tell me what you want and I'll make em? Not as blingy , but not as much cost. Downside is , I'm very slow!!!
I have Lightech ones on my '08 http://www.v9sportbike.ca/product.php?id_product=1546 Lots of adjustment, especially on the lever itself. Very well made. Pricey, but worth it.
Can the Gilles rear sets go lower than photo. I want to get the pegs lower for road use, but be able to get them OEM height for track days. Hopefully you're still around - post was 2011
Looking at the photo there's still some room for adjustment, but when you go further back on the left side you run the risk of too big a gap to reach the gear shift properly.
I just bought a set of diamond race product ones they rock and they are on SALE now at £159 delivered next day postage!! They have a great amount of adjustment and you can buy all the spares for a reasonable price if you go down the road For what its worth i think they rock Diamond racing rearsets
I have a set of Gilles which I had fitted to my 09 Blade fantastic adjustment range and quality pm me if you want photos and details [email protected]
On my RR7 before fitting my new Gilles VCRs I measured from three points the exact positions of the originals footrests and brake and gear lever positions. The idea was to use these as a reference and hopefully get a bit more room from the VCRs. Well, it's not really possible without very different leg/knee angles. I tried the VCRs with the sliders further back but found this dropped the thighs too much, which made the shin/ankle angle too acute, tho' some might like it. Also with the footrests all the way back you could feel a bit of flex in the footrests. So if you want a 'lower' footrest position which is what I think most people mean when they say they want a more relaxed leg position, the Gilles VCRs probably ain't what you want. They do however, look the b*****s. The position shown in the pics is very close to the originals, just a teeny bit higher.
Very nice. This is how mine used to look, although I couldn't get the legroom either. Still got VCR mounting plates if anyone wants to convert a set from another bike.
