The suits looking great ! But, what about import duty & taxes ??? Calculate your import duty in a few quick steps for free | DutyCalculator
Very good point! The official line is all buyers should expect import duty, taxes and fees however they inform me that they will try and keep these to a minimum.
I am tempted to buy at least a Repsol Jacket, but I would like to know where it's made ? ( I don't want to buy leathers original from Pakistan ). A friend bought a Leather Jacket from the following shop and was pleased about the price and service. London Leathers
They are made in Pakistan (but then again most products from Alpinestars are too!). Have a look a look at the links above for the Repsol Group Buy, They are good quality and crash tested which is good enough for me. I took a look at the link for London Leathers. I would want a better replica repsol design for my money.
I got some Alpinestars Leather ( Made in Vietnam ) and they fit me perfect. The Quality is very good but expensive. Also I didn't buy anything from London Leathers yet and I rather would buy what your recommended! I will have another look at the links you posted.
Here is a link to a previous group buy for the Casey Stoner Replica gloves . Feedback about the gloves start at page 11 its fair and balanced for all to read. Repsol Forum
The history of the Repsol suit began when Janmanshop was asked to make a one off for a fellow Repsol Fan. It took several versions to get the right orange to match the bike and also to ensure all sponsors are the right specification. Once he bought his, he then helped to share the suit based on his specifications. I already had a Scott leathers suit and the sponsor logos were awful so bought it without and the orange isn't an exact match to the bike. The Scott leathers (whilst its a great suit from a great maker) just isnt close enough as a replica for me. Hope that helps?
Si you not worried about the fit/cut just the leathers look a bit tight in some of the buyers, I asked them and they said they fit fine but the cut looks all wrong for bike leathers? I've never seen bike or racing leathers so tight in the ass? I'm defo not in the buy so maybe should just keep my mouth shut but I'm funny about leather quality and fit with my own I ware full Kangerroo ArlenNess leathers my self and love them..
